We realize some of you may not be familiar with EA's Origin client. As all new EA games will require Origin to install and run, here's a quick guide on how to install your EA game.
There are a few ways to get Origin. If you have the EA Download Manager installed, running it would prompt you to download and upgrade to the latest version.
The Origin client can be found in your game disc. Just insert the disc and follow the on-screen instructions to install Origin on your PC.
You can also download the latest version from the Origin web site.
If you already have an EA Account, you can log in to Origin right away. If you do not have an existing account, you must create an account before you can proceed.
Once you're logged in, you should see something like the image below. Do not close or log out of Origin.
Insert the game disc if it is not in your disc drive. If the disc is already in your drive, just double click on the disc's icon in your Windows Explorer.
Follow the on-screen instructions (see image 2 and 3).
You will then be prompted for the product key (see image 4 below). Key in your product key -- it is normally located behind the manual or installation guide. The rest of the installation process should be quite straight forward.
Doing so will result in your game becoming a digital download.
